99 Jamz host Supa Cindy is stepping down after more than 20 years on the air in South Florida.

Supa Cindy Doucet made the announcement over the weekend on Instagram, saying she was stepping down to focus on her mental health and happiness.

Supa Cindy started with WEDR in 2000 as an intern. In 2004 she co-hosted the Big Lipp Bandit Morning Show and in 2013 was the local host of the syndicated Rickey Smiley Morning Show.

In Sept. 2022 she joined The Pac Jam Morning Show alongside DJ Nasty 305. She has also been featured on VH1′s “Love and Hip-Hop Miami.”

According to her website, Supa Cindy’s non-profit organization Supa Friends has held events for underprivileged children in Miami-Dade County during the Holidays, back-to-school time and provided encouragement and support for more than two decades.
