Plantation police: Man, 28, has been missing, endangered for over 2 weeks

PLANTATION, Fla. – Plantation police asked for the public’s help Wednesday in locating an endangered man who they say has been missing for over two weeks.

Emmanuel Fritz Laporte, 28, who also goes by “Manny” or “Mano,” was last seen around 1:30 p.m. on May 27 in the 1600 block of Southwest Fourth Avenue in Fort Lauderdale, according to his family.

Investigators say Laporte has an altered mental status and is therefore considered endangered.

Laporte is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs around 230 pounds. He has brown eyes, brown hair and was last seen wearing black pants, a gray shirt, black Nike slides and carrying a black backpack.
