AVENTURA, Fla. – Police said they arrested the president of an Aventura condominium board Friday after he pepper-sprayed a 65-year-old who was helping his daughter move in after an apparent dispute over where the man parked.
It came the same week after allegations of condo drama at another Aventura building led to the arrest of a 73-year-old man on stalking and aggravated assault charges.

According to an arrest report from the Aventura Police Department, the latest incident happened at the Ensenada condominiums at 3401 N. Country Club Drive.
Police said they responded to the complex’s Building 1 just before 3:30 p.m. Friday after receiving a report of a battery.
The report states that Ohad Asus, 39, the condo’s board president, told officers that he saw the man “illegally parking in front of the building” and told him “not to park there.”
He then said he came back an hour later to put a “no parking sticker” on the man’s vehicle.
Asus claimed that the 65-year-old “charged at him” and Asus believed he “was going to kill him,” so he pepper-sprayed the man twice, the report states.
Police said that video provided by the building manager, however, showed Asus “approaching (the man) with pepper spray in his hand.” They said the man walked towards Asus and Asus sprayed him in the face.
That building manager told police the man’s daughter had a reservation for her father to help her move furniture into her unit that day.
Asus, who is no longer listed in Miami-Dade jail records as of Monday morning, was arrested on a felony charge of battery on a person 65 or over.
A judge had set his bond at $10,000 after finding probable cause to charge him.
