Red carpet premiere held for new ‘Bad Boys’ film in downtown Miami

MIAMI – The Bad Boys are back.

On Wednesday, the Miami red carpet premiere, on a blue carpet, for “Bad Boys Ride or Die,” was a star-studded affair at the Silverspot Cinema in downtown Miami.

It’s the fourth installment of the 305-based iconic crime fighting action comedy franchise starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence

The duo spent the earlier part of the evening with the Miami Marlins, throwing the first pitch before their game at Marlins Park.

Lawrence said after that, his throwing arm felt alright.

“I had to stretch it out a little bit, but I got it down,” he said.

“It’s a long way down there,” added Smith.

The fourth film brings the heat with action packed sequences and everybody’s favorite one liners from Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnette set against that famous Miami backdrop.

“I’m excited for these guys, Martin and Will,” said Miami Heat legend Alonzo Mourning. “They’ve entertained for decades now and it seems like every one of their movies we see parts of Miami.”

Added current Miami Heat player Jaime Jaquez Jr.: “I would just say how funny it is. It’s hilarious.”

But spoiler alert, this film’s got a twist. Miami’s finest are now on the run!

It’s a shakeup that may have “Bad Boys” fans running to the cinema.
