The warrant states Spivey help assist the alleged killer, Jason Butler, in disposing of the victim’s body.

Butler was arrested in March 2023 in connection with the fatal shooting of Nathanial Frasier George in late 2022.

Detectives reported finding the 36-year-old victim’s decomposed body inside a trash bin on Dec. 7, 2022, near the intersection of Northwest 205th Street and 29th Avenue in Miami Gardens. They attributed the finding to a Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers tip.

Weeks after detectives found George’s body, authorities said Butler was arrested and accused of trying to rob a woman while she was working at Clutch Coffee Bar in Cooper City in December.

Authorities said Butler shot the woman before running off.

Miami Gardens police say through investigative efforts, their detectives linked Butler to George’s murder and he was charged in March 2023.

According to Spivey’s arrest warrant, an anonymous tipster told detectives in December 2022 that that Spivey helped Butler wrap the victim’s body and put it in the trash can.

Detectives said a woman who referred to Spivey as her “auntie” was interviewed weeks later and said that Butler showed up to her house riding a bike early in the morning on Nov. 29, 2022.

According to the warrant, she said Butler was armed with a gun, had blood on his hands and pointed a gun at her and Spivey, demanding that they go clean his house.

Police said the woman claimed that she refused to go but gave Butler some of her cleaning supplies as she was in fear for her life.

According to the warrant, the woman said that Spivey did agree to go to his house.

The warrant states that detectives obtained surveillance video which captured Spivey riding the same bike that Butler was riding minutes prior near his home.

Police said she was seen holding what appears to be black garbage bags in her left hand before going into Butler’s home.

As of Wednesday afternoon, Spivey was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center without bond.
