According to Detective Angel Rodriguez, a spokesman for the Miami-Dade Police Department, the shooting was at about 12:35 p.m., and officers responded to Northwest 79 Street and 17 Avenue.
Bailey was in a green 2005 Ford Interceptor that appeared to be riddled with bullets, but those were stickers. According to sources, a gunman shot Bailey once. The gas station’s surveillance video shows Bailey was parked at the west side of the gas station when two men in a gray Volkswagen Tiguan parked and one of them shot Bailey and left a single .40 caliber bullet casing behind.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel pronounced Bailey dead at the gas station. A yellow tarp covered the driver’s side of the car decorated with stickers that appeared to be bullet holes.
