MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A suspect riding a dirt bike pulled up on a vehicle, opened fire and wounded two men in the Pinewood area of northwest Miami-Dade Friday evening, according to police.
Police said it happened just after 7 p.m. in the area of Northwest Seventh Avenue and 95th Street, just west of Interstate 95.
Detective Argemis Colome, a spokesperson for the Miami-Dade Police Department, said both men were “struck in their outer extremities” and hospitalized in “stable” condition.
Local 10 News was there as one of the victims arrived at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Colome said the suspect fled the area after shooting the two men.
Authorities haven’t yet said if they’ve identified the suspect or a motive.
