2 men critical after shooting in northwest Miami-Dade, police say

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Police are investigating a shooting that they say left two men in critical condition in northwest Miami-Dade Tuesday evening.

It happened just after 7 p.m. near the 2000th block of Northwest 56th Street, in the county’s Brownsville area.

Upon arrival, Miami-Dade police said they found two men with gunshot wounds.

Authorities said Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the scene and transported both men to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition.

Detectives have not confirmed the age or identity of the victims involved in the shooting.

Police did not announce any arrests in connection with the shooting and a motive remains unclear at this time.
