As the boyfriend was walking home to his grandmother’s house from work, his girlfriend, Emylee Puig, 22, approached him in her car, authorities said.
According to her arrest report, Puig told her boyfriend to get in the car and he complied, slamming the door after he got in.
Police said the couple began arguing about the door being slammed and Puig struck the victim twice in the face.
