ISLAMORADA, Fla. – A Doral police officer got out of jail Tuesday afternoon after being arrested on a drunken driving charge in the Florida Keys.
The officer, Johann Delgado, 36, is facing a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence following his arrest by the Florida Highway Patrol Monday.

Additional details about Delgado’s arrest weren’t immediately available, but online records show he was booked into the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Plantation Key jail facility in Islamorada before being released just after 2:30 Tuesday afternoon.
Doral police said Tuesday that they were aware of the officer's arrest.
“DPD holds all its officers to the highest standards of conduct and professionalism,” Cmdr. Alicia Neal, a department spokesperson, said in a statement to Local 10 News. “Any deviation from these standards is not tolerated, and we are committed to a thorough investigation concerning this matter.”
Neal said the agency was unable to comment further, citing an “open investigation.”
