COOPER CITY, Fla. ā A 9-year-old boy from Cooper City is already a business owner.
His name is Dean and heās in charge of āClean Dean the Pressure Machineā and he started his own business.
āWell, we got cited. Then we got our own pressure washer. Neighbors jokingly asked us and then started my own business!ā said Dean.
Dean says that the first time he ever pressure cleaned it was really hard, but it got easier as he got more experience.
Over time, his business gained more and more exposure and his father says the business is great for him. Not only because heās getting paid, but because it teaches him real life skills at a young age.
āHeās learning to save his money. Heās learning to work hard. Heās learning to wake up early at 8 a.m. on a Sunday. Learning all that at a very early age,ā said Deanās father.
Dean doesnāt actually charge people an hourly rate.
He tells his customers to pay him what they believe a fair price is for all of his hard work.
Dean likes to have fun with it too. He writes himself messages as he cleans up all that dirt.
