MIAMI – A man who disembarked from a cruise at PortMiami is facing charges after authorities said a search of his phone turned up two child sexual abuse videos Sunday.

According to an arrest report from the Miami-Dade Police Department, customs officers detained 32-year-old Iwayan Pasek Brahmantara around 11 a.m. after conducting a cabin search and finding two videos on his phone of girls as young as 5 being sexually assaulted by men.

Authorities also said an MDPD officer found a video of a female “engaging in sexual intercourse with a horse” while searching Brahmantara’s phone.

The report doesn’t specify which cruise ship Brahmantara, an Indonesian national, came in on. It also doesn’t state whether he was a worker or a passenger on the ship.

Authorities said Brahamantara cooperated with investigators, but his statement made to police was redacted from the report.

As of Tuesday, he was being held in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on an immigration hold.

Jail records show Brahamantara is facing three counts of possession of videos depicting a sexual performance by a child and possession of a video depicting sexual activities involving animals.
