WESTON, Fla. – Chick-fil-A is expected to bring more jobs to Broward County, as plans to open the company’s first distribution center in the state of Florida are underway.
According to the South Florida Business Journal, the national fast-food chain purchased a warehouse at 3225 Meridian Parkway for $50.5 million earlier this year.

The facility is expected to generate millions of dollars for Broward County and create more than 100 jobs.
The fast-food chain has grown in the South Florida area, with several locations in Miami-Dade and Broward, including its newest location which opened in April on Pines Boulevard and Dykes Road.
