Fire burns mobile home to the ground in Miami-Dade

Firefighters keep flames from spreading at Riviera Park MHC in Miami Gardens

Miami-Dade firefighters responded to a mobile home fire early Saturday morning in Miami Gardens.

Battalion Chief John Diblasi said dispatch deployed the firefighters at about 5 a.m., to the Riviera Park MHC, near Aledo Circle and Northwest 37 Avenue.

The flames had fully engulfed the trailer during the alarm 1 fire. No one was inside, and firefighters kept the fire from spreading to other mobile homes.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
