His co-defendant, Anthony Ryan Martinez, also 18, was arrested April 25 on the same charges.
According to Lloret’s arrest report, the robbery and shooting occurred April 23 in the 2300 block of Northwest 68th Street.
Miami-Dade police said the two victims, who are brother and sister, went to the area for a drug transaction, during which time a struggle over the drugs ensued.
Police said Martinez pulled out a gun and fired at the victims, shooting the brother in the chest multiple times and once in the left arm.
According to the report, the victims’ vehicle was also struck by three bullets, causing more than $1,000 in damage.
Police said the sister identified Lloret in a photo lineup.
He was taken into custody Thursday and admitted to being at Martinez’s home that day, but denied having any involvement in the incident, the report stated.
As of Friday afternoon, Lloret remained held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center and Martinez remained at the Metrowest Detention Center. Their bonds had yet to be set.
