MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – State troopers investigated a fatal head-on crash just north of Homestead Thursday morning.
According to Florida Highway Patrol dispatch data, the crash happened just after 6 a.m. at the intersection of Krome Avenue and Southwest 296th Street in the unincorporated Redland area.
Authorities closed off Krome Avenue while they investigated.
Video from Sky 10 shows the crash involved two SUVs.
Officials haven’t said how many people were killed or injured or released the identities of any victims.
