HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Authorities in St. Lucie County took four people into custody — arresting three — in a Hollywood robbery in which one of the suspects fired a shot.
Police said four suspects robbed the victim of jewelry and fired a shot into the ground.
Authorities found the suspect vehicle on Interstate 95 in Indian River County and ultimately stopped it in St. Lucie County.
The three arrested are two children and one adult, who has been identified as Zion Sherman.
He was being held in the St. Lucie County jail Thursday, facing charges of armed robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Sherman is being held on a $7,500 bond there, but Hollywood police said he will be transferred to the Broward County jail.
The victim wasn’t hurt and got his jewelry back.
