MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – An elderly woman waiting in line to order food at a southwest Miami-Dade KFC was knocked to the ground by a slap from a 38-year-old homeless man, police said.

According to an arrest report, the incident happened Tuesday at the fried chicken chain’s location at 14081 SW 88th St., in the Kendale Lakes Plaza shopping center.

Miami-Dade police said surveillance video shows Roberto Cabrera Bosch walking up to the woman and then slapping her in the face, causing her to fall to the ground.

The report states that Miami-Dade Fire Rescue medics treated the woman, whose exact age wasn’t specified in the report, at the scene.

Officers searched the area and found Cabrera Bosch in the area of Southwest 137th Avenue and 84th Street, according to police.

Police arrested him on a felony charge of battery on a person 65 or over.

According to Miami-Dade court records, county police previously arrested Cabrera Bosch on an aggravated battery charge on Sept. 13. Less than a month later, prosecutors declined to pursue the case and the charges were dropped.

Cabrera Bosch appeared in court to answer to the latest charge Thursday; a judge granted him a $5,000 bond after finding probable cause to charge him.
