Francisco, 34, allegedly told detectives that he is from Mexico, lives at the Paradise Village in Davie, and works nearby as a restaurant manager. Detectives believe he used Telegram, an encrypted instant messaging service, to buy child porn.

According to the arrest report, Francisco joined a chat displaying a catalog of images of girls and teenage girls. Each had a different dollar amount. He allegedly paid to download the files.

Police officers arrested him on Tuesday night at the airport.

Correctional officers booked Francisco shortly before 2 a.m., on Wednesday, at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

Francisco later appeared in bond court facing five felony counts of possession of a sexual performance by a child.

A judge set his bond at $12,500 and he remained at TGKCC on Wednesday afternoon. Miami-Dade County Circuit Judge Cristina Miranda was set to preside over the case.
