HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. ā A 52-year-old man used a job offer as a ruse to entice a young man into his truck, where he would sexually batter him at gunpoint, according to police.
Police said the crime happened on March 15 in Hallandale Beach. Officers located and arrested the suspect, Alton Tremayne Poole, a felon from Miramar whoās served time in state prison, on Tuesday.

An arrest warrant states that the 18-year-old victim had been fishing with an underage friend when Poole approached them and asked them their ages.
Investigators said Poole then told the 18-year-old he āhad work for himā doing āconstruction or painting.ā
Poole then said he āhad to take care of somethingā and left for roughly 20 minutes before coming back, the warrant states.
The victim told Poole he was interested in what he had to offer, so Poole told him to come to his truck so he could show him paperwork that proved he was ālegit,ā police said.
Police said the victim entered the passengerās seat. Then he heard the doors lock.
As the victim turned to unlock the door, Poole pulled out a gun and told him to pull down his pants, the warrant states.
Police said the victim did so and Poole grabbed his genitals and then performed a sex act on him for roughly 10 minutes.
Poole offered the victim drugs and money afterward, neither of which he wanted, police said.
The warrant states that the two got out of the truck and walked back to where the victimās friend was.
Police said Poole said he ālikes girls alsoā and showed the victim videos of himself having sex with women.
The victim and his friend walked away and then jumped over a wall to the parking lot of the Walmart at 2551 E. Hallandale Beach Blvd., where they called 911, police said.
Poole, who authorities said has a chest tattoo proclaiming āMan of God,ā would become wanted for armed sexual battery, according to the warrant.
Itās unclear how police identified him as the suspect; much of the warrant was redacted.
Poole, following his arrest, was taken to the Broward Main Jail, where he was being held without bond as of Thursday afternoon.
