MIAMI ā A man arrested for the murders of two people at a Miami gas station went before a Miami-Dade judge.
Detectives say 23-year-old Jason Craig Dyer-Mitchell shot three people during an argument inside a Chevron off 54th Street early Saturday morning.

According to Dyer-Mitchellās arrest form, one of the employees had questioned him about shoplifting and an argument began, and that is when he started shooting.
āHe shot my boss six times and shot the other one three times and shot another guy thatās in the hospital right now,ā said Chevron employee Lorenzo Profit. āHe shot him in the groin.ā
Two employees died and a customer was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The shooter took off and police spent hours processing the scene. Later in the day, SWAT surrounded an apartment building across the street from the gas station. That is where officers took Dyer-Mitchell into custody.
The gas station was boarded up and has not yet reopened as of Monday evening.
Mitchell appeared before a judge on two murder charges and was given no bond.
