MIAMI ā A 29-year-old man was arrested Wednesday, months after an armed robbery was reported in the city of Miami, authorities confirmed.
Calvin Foster, of Miami, faces charges of attempted murder, armed burglary with assault or battery and armed robbery.

According to his arrest report, on Dec. 24, 2023, the victim was stopped in his vehicle in the area of Northwest Seventh Avenue and 73rd Street, checking his GPS.
Police said the front passenger door suddenly swung open and two people pointed guns at the victim, telling him āLet me get that.ā
According to the report, the victim grabbed one of the robberās guns and a struggle ensued, with the victim eventually firing one or two shots inside the vehicle.
Police said the driver then got out of the car and started running away while still holding the gun, as the other robber shot at him, striking the back windshield of the victimās car.
The victim eventually hid under another vehicle that happened to be parked next to the robbersā car, authorities said.
Police said both robbers ran past the victim and got into the possibly dark-colored Nissan Altima or Maxima before fleeing the scene.
According to the report, the victim then ran back to his car and flagged down police officers he saw patrolling the area.
Police confiscated the gun the victim had taken from one of the robbers, which had been reported stolen in Miami-Dade County, authorities said.
Police said they tied Foster to the crime after finding a black iPhone with a red case at the scene which contained a Florida ID card and a white debit card belonging to Foster.
According to the report, the crime was also captured on surveillance video from a nearby business.
Police said Foster denied being involved in the robbery.
As of Thursday afternoon, he was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center without bond.
