BISCAYNE PARK, Fla. – A special election was held in the village of Biscayne Park on Tuesday.
Voters took to the polls to select a new commissioner, though the seat will again be on the ballot in November.

Ryan Huntington emerged victorious with 78.8% of the votes.
Finishing second was Daniel R. Samaria with 15.9% of ballots cast, while Carlos Manuel Trejo Pereira came in third with 5.2% of the votes.
A total of 347 ballots were cast, which represents 17.48% of Biscayne Park’s 1,985 registered voters, according to Miami-Dade County Elections.
