DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – Deputies found a man wounded on Wednesday in Broward County after a shooting.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the shooting victim was at the Extended Stay America Premier Suites, at 1200 FAU Research Park Boulevard, in Deerfield Beach.

Carey Codd, a spokesman for BSO, reported the man had suffered from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue personnel took him to a nearby hospital.
