FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Two people have been arrested following a shooting in Fort Lauderdale that left one person injured Tuesday.
Fort Lauderdale police confirmed Wednesday that Maurice Biart, 40, and Sasha Salom, 42, are in custody.

Police said Biart faces an attempted murder charge while Salom faces a charge of tampering with evidence.
According to police, the shooting was reported at 1:36 p.m. Tuesday in the 5100 block of North State Road 7.
Police responded to the scene and found one victim who had been shot.
Police said an officer provided “tactical medical care” to the victim until Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue personnel arrived.
No other details about the shooting have been released.
