CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Authorities are investigating after a 10-year-old child was struck by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Coral Springs.
According to Coral Springs Fire Rescue officials, the incident occurred in the 11000 block of Sample Road.

Sky 10 was above the scene shortly after 10 a.m. as yellow police tape blocked off the area. A white van could be seen stopped in the middle of the roadway.
First responders confirmed that the child was airlifted to Broward Health Medical Center in stable condition.
No other details were immediately released.
