MIAMI – A 24-year-old Cuban man who doesn’t speak English was facing 10 charges in four cases in Miami-Dade County.
Jhon Danel Torres-Carbonell required the help of a translator when he appeared in court on Saturday to face more charges.

According to prosecutors, Torres-Carbonell had two pending felony cases for grand theft auto and two new cases.
After his latest arrest on Friday, he appeared before Miami-Dade County Circuit Judge Carmen Cabarga twice on Saturday.
His first appearance was to face two counts of leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, one count of reckless driving, and driving without a license.
His second appearance was for grand theft, grand theft of a vehicle, resisting an officer without violence, armed burglary of an unoccupied conveyance, and grand theft of a firearm.
Court records show prosecutors filed cases against him on Nov. 17 and on Nov. 30 for two counts of grand theft of a vehicle and Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Lody Jean was presiding over both cases.
