MIAMI – Police have arrested a third convicted felon accused of gang-raping a teenage runaway at an abandoned home in Miami’s Liberty City neighborhood last Friday.

Authorities took Kenneth Alexander Walker Jr., 48, into custody on Wednesday following an arrest in Aventura, according to a police report.

They arrested the other two suspects, Livingstone Martin Jr. and Robert DeArmas, both 35-year-old convicted felons, about 10 hours after the girl reported the alleged gang rape at Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Roxcy Bolton Rape Treatment Center.

Police initially said the girl was 16 years old following the arrest of DeArmas and Martin, though Walker’s arrest report describes her as 15.

Arrest reports state that the girl was dropped off at the intersection of Northwest 17th Avenue and 40th Street and was walking in the area at around midnight Friday when a man known as “Save” approached her, asked her what she was doing in the area and told her it wasn’t safe.

She followed the man to a house in the 1800 block of Northwest 43rd Street, where two of the attackers offered her marijuana, molly, tobacco, and a Crush soda before the rapes, police said.

During the series of sexual assaults, DeArmas told the girl he was “bored” before raping her, police said.

She said she escaped when someone knocked on the door.

Police had encountered Walker after pulling up to the house soon after the crime was reported to them, but did not arrest him as they hadn’t spoken to the victim yet and weren’t aware of his involvement until later, his arrest report states.

Walker, according to the Florida Department of Corrections, spent time in prison for convictions of aggravated child abuse in Miami-Dade County and cocaine possession in the Florida Keys.

Martin was convicted of a 2005 second-degree murder, while DeArmas was convicted of a 2007 grand theft of a motor vehicle. Both crimes occurred in Miami-Dade.

All are being held without bond on various charges, including sexual battery.
