MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Police arrested a 29-year-old man Tuesday after they said he committed a lewd act against a woman in the paint section of a South Florida Walmart.
According to police, it happened just after 2:15 p.m. at the chain’s store located at 17650 NW Second Ave. in Miami Gardens, near the Golden Glades interchange.

An arrest report states that the victim reported the act to an off-duty Miami Gardens officer.
It states that the woman told police that she noticed a man, later identified as Justin Jenardo Harris, “brush up against her” and she replied, “What did you just do to me? Did you take a picture of me?”
Police said Harris responded, “What would I do that for?” and walked away.
Then, police said after the woman turned around, her daughter let her know about “a white creamy substance on the back of her left butt cheek,” the report states.
Police took Harris into custody on a misdemeanor charge of lewd and lascivious behavior. They said while in the officer’s cruiser, Harris banged his head hard enough and frequently enough on the plexiglass divider that he caused it to break, leading to more than $1,000 in damage and a felony criminal mischief charge.
Harris, who is listed in his arrest report as being homeless, was being held in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $2,500 bond as of Wednesday evening.
