PLANTATION, Fla. – Firefighters rushed to a backyard blaze in Broward County early Sunday morning.
According to authorities, calls came in around 4:30 a.m. regarding a fire along the 900 block of East Country Club Drive in Plantation.
Several units responded and began working to extinguish the blaze.
Officials with Plantation Fire Rescue said it was a backyard shed that was on fire, with items such as propane tanks, gas cans and “other typical equipment in the shed.”
Firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading to the home. The shed was destroyed and a fence was also damaged by the flames.
No injuries were reported.
