The Miami New Times reported in February that Haslem, 38, is the sister of Miami Heat legend Udonis Haslem, 43.

Sheana Haslem, according to the DOJ, claimed to be an independent contractor who owned her own “hair and nail salon business,” employing 15 people with a revenue of roughly $90,000, using those figures to obtain a $10,000 Economic Injury Disaster Loan advance in July 2020.

Then, in February 2021, she got a fraudulent Paycheck Protection Program loan of nearly $21,000, prosecutors said.

Sheana Haslem is set to be sentenced May 28, where she could face up to two decades behind bars.

Meanwhile, authorities also announced Tuesday that former MPD Public Service Aide Keandra Carter is set to be sentenced May 2.

Carter, 35, pleaded guilty to wire fraud on Feb. 13.

Prosecutors said she falsely claimed to be a “hair braider” with a business grossing $1.1 million in 2019, scoring her a nearly $21,000 PPP loan.

She, too, could face two decades behind bars, prosecutors said.
