HIALEAH, Fla. – Police took a male into custody after they said he was involved in an armed robbery attempt in Hialeah Tuesday afternoon.
Hialeah police confirmed the incident happened near the intersection of East 11th Street and 25th Street.

Authorities said a BOLO (Be on the Lookout) alert was issued for the subject and police eventually located him traveling north on East Eighth Avenue and 47th Street, where he was eventually taken into custody.
Sky 10 flew over the scene around 1:20 p.m. where police officers were seen investigating in front of a home in the area.
Authorities have not released information on the culprit’s age or identity.
It is unclear if any shots were fired or if anyone was injured during the incident.
