Man hospitalized after fall in Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue crews transported a man to Broward Health Medical Center Tuesday morning after a fall, officials said.

First responders initially said they responded to the 1100 block of Northwest Seventh Terrace after receiving a report about a man who had been attacked by dogs, but Assistant Fire Chief Greg May later confirmed that the victim had fallen as dogs were running out of a home.

Sky 10 was above the scene just before 11:30 a.m. as a police car was still in the area.

May said the victim was taken to the hospital with a minor injury.

No other details were immediately released.
