PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – An armed robber wearing what appears to be a Bass Pro Shops hat had walked into a 7-Eleven and held the store up at gunpoint in late January; now, Pembroke Pines police are seeking the public’s help identifying him.

According to a post on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, the robbery happened Jan. 20 at the chain’s store at 7090 Pines Blvd., just northeast of North Perry Airport.

Authorities released video of the suspect, which can be viewed above. He points a gun at the clerk while holding a bag.

Police didn’t say how much cash, if any, he made off with.

Anyone with information is asked to call Pembroke Pines police Detective Brad Hyatt at 954-431-2225 or 954-431-2200.
