MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Police are investigating a road rage incident that they say left one man injured and another person detained following a shooting on Interstate 95 in northwest Miami-Dade Friday night.
It happened just after 10 p.m. in the area of Northwest 103rd Street and Seventh Avenue near the county’s Pinewood area.
Upon arrival, police officers found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and transported him to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in stable condition.
Authorities confirmed a man has been detained to determine his involvement and the investigation continues.
Investigations have not identified the victim or suspect in the incident, nor have they released a motive for the shooting at this time.
