SUNNY ISLES BEACH, Fla. – An investigation is underway after the body of a man was found on Sunny Isles Beach early Saturday morning, police confirmed.
The body was discovered on the sand at the back of the Sahara Beach Club near 18335 Collins Ave, just south of the Lehman Causeway.
Police have not released any details on the age or identity of the man who was found.
A Local 10 News crew was at the scene where crime scene technicians from the Miami-Dade Police Department were examining the body.
Sunny Isles Beach police confirmed they have turned their investigation over to the MDPD.
A spokesperson with MDPD’s homicide bureau said there is no foul play suspected at this time and the manner/cause of death will be determined by a medical examiner.
