4 injured after hotel shuttle bus crashes near FLL, authorities say

DANIA BEACH, Fla. ā€“ Four people were taken to the hospital after the hotel shuttle bus they were in crashed just outside of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport Saturday morning.

It happened just before 7 a.m. near the intersection of Perimeter Road and Griffin Road.

According to Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Michael Kane, four people were transported with minor injuries to a local hospital.

A Local 10 News crew was at the scene where the Hilton Gardens Inn shuttle bus and a white SUV were being towed separately shortly after the crash occurred.

It is unknown if the driver of the white SUV was one of the people transported to the hospital.

The cause of the crash is being investigated at this time.
