DANIA BEACH, Fla. – Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives asked for the public’s help Thursday to identify and locate a person of interest in a double shooting that left two injured in Dania Beach last September.
Deputies received reports of a shooting around 4:15 p.m. Sept 11. near the intersection of Northwest Seventh Avenue and West Dania Beach Boulevard.

Authorities responded and immediately began rendering aid to a boy who they said sustained a single gunshot wound.
Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue also responded and transported the boy to a nearby hospital for treatment, authorities said.
During the investigation, detectives said they received information that a second gunshot victim, a man, had arrived at a hospital in Plantation.
Video surveillance near the location captured the man dressed in all black running from the area, according to BSO.
Detectives believe the man may have information that could aid in the investigation.
