1 dead, 2 injured in Lauderhill shooting

LAUDERHILL, Fla. – Authorities in Broward County are investigating a fatal shooting.

It happened on Tuesday at approximately 3:53 p.m. along the 5600 block of Northwest 27th Court in Lauderhill.

According to police, officers responded to the scene after receiving several calls regarding a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found a man who had been shot and was unresponsive.

The victim was rushed to Broward Health Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

During the investigation, another victim arrived to the same hospital who had also been shot. Police said that victim is in stable condition after suffering non-life-threatening injuries.

Police also said a third person was injured as a result of the shooting, but that person was treated at the scene and did not need to be hospitalized.

Authorities did not provide any information regarding a suspect or person of interest.
