Witnessing the challenges faced by parents and babies, she started an initiative called ‘NICU Literacy & Love’, which is dedicated to providing support and comfort to NICU families through the simple act of reading.
Intsiful collaborated with librarians at the Alvin Sherman Library and collected over 175 carefully selected children’s books for donation to the hospital.
These books aim not only to entertain but also to promote literacy and bonding between parents and their babies.
Through ‘NICU Literacy & Love,’ Intsiful hopes to empower parents, enabling them to spend quality time with their newborns and alleviating some of the stress and challenges they face.
