BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – The Humane Society of Broward County joined Local 10 News Saturday in continuing its search to find loving, permanent homes for pets.
HSBC’s Matthew Seligman introduced 8-year-old Tito to Local 10 viewers.
Seligman said Tito, a Chihuahua, came into the Humane Society last week and has a heart murmur. The HSBC will be getting his test results from the heart murmur on Monday.
He said Tito is a cuddle bug and just wants to be held.
Seligman said the best place for Tito would be a quiet household since he doesn’t seem to like loud noises.
He confirmed that the HSBC received Tito from a shelter in Georgia.
The HSBC said the application to adopt an animal only takes five minutes to complete and future owners are encouraged to schedule a meet and greet.
The HSBC also said they are accepting toy donations for the animals to play with at the shelter.
There are many more dogs, cats, rabbits and furry friends up for adoption at the Humane Society of Broward County.
Seligman confirmed HSBC has reached over $470,000 in donations for their annual Walk for the Animals event, which is just under 95% of their goal.
