Homicide detectives investigate child’s death in Broward

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – Homicide detectives were investigating a boy’s death on Thursday in Broward County.

Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue personnel found the boy at about 9:45 a.m., near the intersection of Northeast Second Terrace and 19th Street, according to BSO.

PBFR paramedics took the boy to a nearby hospital in Broward County where medical personnel pronounced him dead, according to BSO.

Detectives were asking anyone with information about the case to call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
