OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney’s parents booked as they face computer charges in Miami murder case

Deborah, Kim Clenney booked in Miami-Dade jail just after 8 a.m.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – The parents of OnlyFans model and accused murderer Courtney Clenney were booked into Miami-Dade County’s Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center Tuesday morning as they face charges in connection with their daughter’s case.

Jail records show that Deborah Clenney, 57, was booked into TGK just before 8:15 a.m., while her husband, Kim Clenney, 60, was booked just before 8:30 a.m.

They had been arrested in their home state of Texas the week prior to face charges in South Florida.

Each face a charge of unauthorized access to a computer, specifically, the laptop of victim Christian Obumseli, whom their daughter is accused of murdering at their Edgewater apartment on April 3, 2022. Courtney Clenney, 27, claims self-defense; she’s now facing the same computer charge as well.

The Clenneys are accused of acquiring the laptop without permission.

Authorities obtained a series of text messages between Kim and Deborah Clenney and their daughter’s attorneys regarding Obumseli’s laptop and potential passwords, according to a warrant.

The warrants also mention plans to transfer the laptop to Courtney Clenney’s attorneys and the involvement of an IT expert.

One of those attorneys, in a statement following the Clenneys’ arrests, called the charges “trumped-up” and said they “could be an example of prosecutorial overreach and misconduct.”

Kim and Deborah Clenney walked out of jail together just after 5:30 p.m., holding hands, having bonded out.

If convicted in Obumseli’s murder, Courtney Clenney faces up to life in prison. A trial date has not yet been set.
