Chevalier, facing a number of drag racing, reckless driving and driving while suspended charges, is accused of participating in at least three events: one in Miami Gardens on Aug. 26 and two in North Miami ā€” one on Dec. 30 and another on Jan. 28.

Everett is accused of participating in a street takeover on Saturday in Opa-locka and then fleeing police.

According to an arrest report, Everett, who had a white towel obscuring the license plate of his Chevrolet Camaro, refused to stop for officers working an intersection takeover detail near Northwest 135th Street and 37th Avenue.

Police wrote that Everett sped away from police, driving ā€œrecklesslyā€ onto Floridaā€™s Turnpike and then onto Northwest 199th Street in Miami Gardens, where officers arrested him.

Police arrested Everett on charges of fleeing and eluding and reckless driving.

Neither were listed in Miami-Dade jail records as of Monday afternoon.
