MIAMI – Four people were hospitalized after being involved in a car accident in Miami on Monday night.
It happened just before 8 p.m. in the area of 16th Avenue and South Dixie Highway.
According to authorities, first responders arrived to find a white Mini Cooper that had crashed against a tree with four people trapped inside.
All four people were rushed to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital in serious condition, but they are expected to survive.
They are between the ages of 17 and 20 years old, according to Miami Fire Rescue.
A second vehicle was involved in the crash, but no one inside was hurt.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by Miami police.
