Hallandale Beach shooting leaves 1 hospitalized, police say

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – Police are investigating after they say a person was hospitalized following a shooting in Hallandale Beach on Saturday.

Authorities said they responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 300 block of Northwest Fourth Street.

Upon arrival, Hallandale Beach police said they located an adult with a gunshot wound.

Investigators said the victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police have not provided any information on the victim’s age, gender or identity at this time.
