MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Police arrested a Miami man Tuesday after they said he fatally shot a woman in the back of the head in northwest Miami-Dade the day prior.
Jalen Leon Bradley, 27, of Overtown, faces charges of second-degree murder, felon in possession of a firearm and evidence tampering.

According to Miami-Dade police, the shooting happened at around 12:30 a.m. Monday.
An arrest report states that emergency personnel responded to 9390 NW 27th Ave., the location of a Family Dollar store in Miami-Dade County’s West Little River area, and found the woman dead.
After surveillance footage revealed that the suspect’s vehicle was a black Kia Optima, authorities impounded the car and later located Bradley in the 8000 block of Northwest Seventh Avenue, police said.
Police said Bradley confessed to the killing and authorities found a box of ammunition in his car.
The arrest report doesn’t identify the victim, nor does it state how or whether Bradley knew her.
Officers took Bradley to Miami-Dade’s Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, where he was being held without bond as of Wednesday afternoon.
He’s previously been convicted of charges including battery on a law enforcement officer, carrying a concealed weapon and grand theft.
