SOUTH BEACH, Fla. – Detectives have a photo of Alba Agenbroad wearing a white bikini and a large “PIMP” necklace. Several single migrant mothers reported that she said her name was “Eva” and referred to them as “slaves” while she sexually exploited them at apartments in South Beach, records show.

Agenbroad, 43, who was born in Peru, was operating a prostitution ring out of apartments on Michigan Avenue, near Lincoln Road, and used Zelle for payments and sites like Eros, AdultSearch, and Sexy_Friends_Miami for marketing, according to a police arrest report in the case.

Some of the women said Agenbroad threatened to report them to immigration authorities and one of them was even afraid that Agenbroad wanted to take photographs of her 9-year-old daughter for prostitution when she offered to help promote her for modeling jobs, according to the police report.

One of the victims told detectives that after Agenbroad earned her trust, she started to threaten her and took 60% of what the men paid after engaging in prostitution in a room that had a massage table, candles, and a spa-like ambiance, according to a police report.

State records show Agenbroad had a Florida Department of Health’s massage therapist license that was set to expire on Aug. 31, 2025, and she was the registered agent of The Sublime Spa, a corporation registered out of a residential building on Michigan Avenue.

Agenbroad surrendered to police shortly before 7 p.m. on Monday at the Miami Beach Police Department’s station on Washington Avenue and Miami-Dade County correctional officers booked her at about 8:30 p.m., at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, records show.

Agenbroad has five pending cases in Miami-Dade court, including three on warrants, county records show. She appeared in court on Tuesday and her bond was denied for two new cases of human trafficking and prostitution. There was an ongoing investigation.

Detectives were asking anyone with information about the case to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
