PLANTATION, Fla. – Police in Broward County are investigating a drug-related shooting.
It happened at approximately 1:20 p.m. along the 4700 block of Northwest 7th Drive at East Lake Park in Plantation.
According to Plantation police, a man was shot after getting into a conflict that was “related to drugs.”
The person who was shot was rushed to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
Police said the shooter was detained, and both the shooter and victim are cooperating with investigators.
No arrests have been made as the investigation is ongoing.
