Pedestrian dies after hit-and-run crash in Lauderhill

LAUDERHILL, Fla. – A fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred in Broward County is under investigation.

It happened Saturday just before 8 p.m. near the intersection of Northwest 31st Avenue and Broward Boulevard in Lauderhill.

According to police, officers responded to the scene and found a man in the road who was suffering from multiple injuries after being struck by a vehicle.

He was rushed to Broward Health Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Police said the vehicle involved in the crash took off before they arrived.
